With the right knowledge and strategy, businesses can succeed even in challenging economic times. This program provides you with the essential skills to launch and grow a successful venture. The foundation year is designed to strengthen your academic abilities and build your confidence.

Course Overview

Do you aspire to start your own business? Are you eager to learn how to build a successful company, even in challenging economic conditions? If you have a business idea, we’re here to help you bring it to life.

The Business and Enterprise BA (Hons) with Foundation Year is a four-year program designed for those who may not have a traditional academic background but are eager to pursue higher education. It offers an alternative pathway into university studies.

During the integrated Foundation Year, you’ll develop essential academic skills and build confidence while exploring key business concepts that will support your studies in the following years.

Through a mix of case studies, lectures, workshops, and student-led activities, you’ll gain insight into business goals, practices, and theories. You’ll explore areas such as supply chain logistics, project management, production, business organization, and human resource management.

Throughout the course, you’ll develop practical skills to create a business plan, forecast financial data, present and sell ideas, identify target customers, and expand into international markets.

In your final year, you’ll work on a consulting project, applying your business knowledge to real-world challenges. Collaborating with peers, you’ll develop reports and recommendations based on innovative business concepts, helping you cultivate the entrepreneurial skills valued by large organizations.
